Luthier Alejandro Ramirez has been hand-crafting his line of o3 Custom Guitars and Basses since 2005. This particular model is the Xenon with a stunning “Volcanic Dunes” figured Redwood and satin finish. The top on this one is stunning – One piece of intensely figured Redwood. The body back is Swamp Ash body and the neck is constructed from 7 pieces of Maple, Padauk and Wenge with a beautiful Birdseye Maple fretboard. The custom inlay is “The Sun of Portocarrero”. Sonically, this guitar is extremely versatile. Great for a wide variety of musical styles thanks to the HSS configuration and a custom set of Haussel pickups. They have enough power to drive any amp while maintaining the “o3 tone” – Big but with Definition and Control. Sparkling and Bluesy yet Hot and Nasty when necessary. The neck is very easy to play and feels great with very low action. Zero fret construction is utilized here again for a balanced tone and the 640 mm scale length (about 25.2”) adds note definition.
