Understanding tradition and developing new ways to achieve a distinctive, resonant and clear tone, Robert Robinson makes innovative and uniquely styled instruments that are at once remarkably comfortable, and a pleasure to play. This particular model is The Prophet and it is exceptional.

To say this design is unique would be an understatement. When I first saw it I thought – It’s the “Cybertruck” of guitars. But it is much more than a novelty. Influenced by the art of Origami, the “folded” styling of The Prophet is simple and complex, but altogether elegant and forward thinking. The woods used are Quartersawn Cherry for the neck and body with an Ebony fingerboard. Carbon fiber rods provide reinforcement to the neck, while the body utilizes Bob’s unique machined metal core structure. This interesting internal core contains the mounting and adjustment for bridge, tailpiece and pickups, and ties all the resonant components together to form a super solid, resonant structure. The headstock is machined from Aluminum and bolted on. This is truly unique, exceptionally well thought out and perfectly executed. Overall the guitar just feels right. Super comfortable and very solid. The neck has a great feel – medium in size and thoughtfully carved. Fretwork is perfect along with other fine details. The finish is a glossy Aviator Grey color with Black Anodized machined Aluminum wedge and headstock.
