This Custom Classic T from Suhr Guitars features some absolutely incredible custom options for stunning looks, awesome playability and insane tone! To start out we went straight for the Gretsch-style vibe with this one – Chambered Ash Body with an F-hole and full contours for comfort, Trans Orange Finish w/ Natural Scraped Binding, a pair of TV Jones Classic humbucking pickups and Gold Hardware. The neck is an ultra comfy 60’s Vintage “C” Standard profile with a satin finish. It’s Roasted Maple for stability and tone with a Rosewood fingerboard, 9-12″ compound radius and 22 Heavy Stainless Steel frets. The headstock adds class with a gloss black finish and Gold Laser etched logo to match the hardware.

This baby rings like a bell, weighs almost nothing (only 6.2lbs) and sounds fantastic! Rich, Full and Wide sounding. Well balanced and Tele-like but also more bottom end mixed with tight mids and a sparkly top. It really sounds great for anything from twang and spank to rippin’ 80’s hard rock. Anything from blazing hot Rock leads to more classic, Blues rock, Jazz and chicken’ pickin’ Country riffs seem to flow out of the guitar with little to no effort at all. Gold hardware adds elegance but does so without looking gaudy. A joy to play on the couch or on stage – Even for 3 sets in a row.
