It works great onstage and is perfect for studio use too. With vintage-correct cabinetry and classic Supro styling Saturn Reverb 1×12 combo is the complete package!
Built-in Reverb and Tremolo! Custom Speakers!
When it comes to ambience, nothing delivers the classic depth and dimension to your sound like a true, tube driven spring reverb. That’s why Supro installed it on the 1648RT 1×11 combo. Of course nothing compliments pure tube reverb like a great sounding power tube tremolo circuit for an extra dose of warmth and wobble.
But how do you bring that classic tone to life? You team up with America’s premier speaker manufacturer, Eminence, to develop a series of custom speakers! Supro Amps did just that and the 1648RT Saturn Reverb comes loaded with a custom DT12 speaker for a “Jensen-esque” tone with superb volume and exceptionally tight low end.

Supro’s roots can be traced back to the Valco company which manufactured amps and guitars under a variety of brand names, including Airline, Oahu, National, Gretsch, Harmony, and Kay. It was during this time that Valco also began producing guitars and amplifiers under the Supro name. Extremely popular amongst Southside Chicago blues musicians in the 1960’s, Supro amplifiers proved equally popular with the British musicians who were influenced by them. By the late 1960’s, notable guitarists from Jimi Hendrix to Albert Lee to Jimmy Page could be seen playing their Supro amplifiers. Nowadays, original Supro amps are highly sought after and often sell for premium prices on the used market because of their legendary and unique tone.
