As you may know first hand from experience, or possibly from rumors on the street, the fine folks at Tom Anderson Guitarworks are the world’s greatest, and make the world’s greatest guitars. This Pro Am is a fine example of that.

As you may have guessed, the theme of this Pro Am is “HOT ROD”. It is finished in Go Mango with Black Racing Stripes, a Black headstock, and a matching Orange logo. Of course playability and tone are the foremost priorities with any Tom Anderson guitar and this Pro Am is no different. The Basswood body mates perfectly with the Maple/Rosewood neck courtesy of an ingenious Tom Anderson “wedgie” neck joint to offer incredible access to the highest registers while simultaneously transmitting every available ounce of resonance and tone. The result is a light, loud and lively beast vibrating between your fingers and against your body.

The H/H pickup combination in conjunction with a 5-way switch provides for all the most important sounds, and places them right where you expect them to be, for very efficient switching. Oh, and did I mention that this guitar weighs only 6.8 lbs? It does. What is does not do, is get any better.
