Just in on trade and in immaculate condition. No issues, no dings, dents, wear, etc… only the slightest hint of superficial polishing cloth marks might be the only hint this guitar is not factory fresh. The dreadnought is the most popular acoustic guitar body-style in the world. Collings is not the first to build them, but they bring a new level of tonal clarity to this large, deep-bodied instrument. The D1 is based on the popular Martin D-18, and is ideal for vocal accompaniment due to it’s full bass response. Bluegrass Flatpickers also love the D1 for it’s ability to cut through the mix and compete with loud instruments like banjos and fiddles. Collings uses only the highest quality materials and the D1, like all Collings guitars, is built to the tightest tolerances. Each one is voiced individually to give you a clear, full and balanced representation of the D-style Mahogany/Spruce guitar.
