Vintage 1960s Fender Bandmaster Head with 1×12 Cabinet
Great Sounding Tube Guitar Amplifier
Classic Fender Blackface Tone w/ Tremolo
Used! Just in on consignment. The vintage Blackface Fender Bandmaster Head is not a Reissue! I believe it is from ’65 but it could certainly be plus or minus a year or two within the Blackface era. It’s an AB763. That’s all I can discern from the outside. I cannot read the production number on the tube chart. It’s a great sounding, all-tube guitar amplifier with the perfect amount of power for gigs, home use, or studio recording. Equally great for rock, country or blues players who want a moderately powered amp they can crank up for fat, snappy guitar tones as heard on many of your favorite recordings- from Memphis to Abbey Road.
This listing is for the head and the matching 1×12 cabinet. The head is original / vintage (possible re-grille) while the cabinet is a reproduction – Solid Pine with a 4 Ohm Jensen C12N (I believe this cabinet is referred to as a “Tone Ring” cabinet). It sounds great and it’s lightweight. My guess is that it was made by Mojotone, but I do not know for sure. The amp has been professionally serviced and maintained. Recent tubes and caps, 3 prong cord, etc. Like all our used / vintage gear it has been tested for functionality and priced to move. What you see is what you get. Sold As-is.
Make’n Music is happy to have this vintage Blackface Fender Bandmaster for sale at a great price!
* Please note: I will consider selling the cabinet separately but I will not sell the head without the cabinet.
** Shipping / Handling costs seem high, but keep in mind this will ship in two large boxes.
