Following the tremendous success of their 1-off custom “Private Build” instruments, the folks at B&G are proud to offer the Big Sister bass guitar as a Crossroads Series production model. The Big Sister Crossroads offers the same looks and construction of her Private Build siblings, but at price point that is truly accessible to all players. How did they do it? They had to streamline production and specs – So the Big Sister Crossroads comes in just one configuration and cannot be customized. But fortunately for us, B&G decided to offer it with the most requested and desirable configuration. The chambered body and 1-piece neck are crafted from genuine Mahogany. The top is solid, figured, hard Maple, which is well known for its low dampening, and the combination delivers a tight, punchy sound. Of course the finish is Tobacco Burst for an elegant and classic look.

In order to provide truly exceptional tone, B&G could not compromise on those specs, and they had to include their original, B&G solid Brass bridge – The same one used in their Private Build series. Additionally, the Big Sister semi-hollow electric bass guitar is loaded with a set of Aguilar Super-Double humbucking pickups. The signature B&G F-Holes contribute to the authentic Golden Era look and vibe. Exceeding all expectations, the Big Sister Crossroads from B&G Guitars is a perfect match for any 4-string player.
