The vintage Gibson 1959 Les Paul has long been considered the Holy Grail of vintage guitars. The Gibson Custom Shop Historic Reissues are the closest you can get to one of those actual vintage Les Pauls without selling your house to get it. With it’s Humbucking Pickups and Sunburst finish this ’59 Les Paul Standard Flametop from the Gibson Custom Shop is a Reissue of those early sunburst beauties and built to Vintage Original Specifications. The ’59 Les Paul Reissue includes faithful recreations of the original CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors as well as a pair of Burst Bucker pickups for some truly vintage tone.

The Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Sunburst Reissue VOS is built with a a carved, flame maple top, solid mahogany back and single-ply cream binding on the top. The one-piece mahogany neck sports a rounded profile and the rosewood fingerboard is built with 22 frets, vintage trapezoid inlays, and single-ply cream binding.

To protect your investment in quality, the sunburst 1958 Les Paul Reissue guitar comes complete with a Gibson Custom Shop case and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This guitar sounds fantastic and is in great shape- almost like new except for a tiny ding on the back of the headstock, a small buckle mark on the back and a teeny ding on the back edge by the jack. Nothing significant, no serious issues, repairs, wear, or anything like that. Like all our Used | Vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
