Harden Engineering Switchblade
Used! Just in on consignment!
Custom Boutique Electric Guitar
Hand-made!
This Harden Switchblade is used, just in on consignment and in great shape! It was collector owned, well cared for and brought in by one of our regular customers. No issues, significant dings, dents, wear, repairs, etc… other than maybe some superficial pick scratches on the pickguard. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move! What you see is what you get, other than the original hardshell case- which is included but not pictured. It’s very cool actually.
The Switchblade is the guitar that started it all for Harden Engineering. An American original with 25 ½ scale length, set neck construction, chambered Mahogany / Korina / Maple body, Switchblade humbuckers and hand-made and etched aircraft aluminum parts. It has a unique look and is surprisingly versatile- Beefy and bluesy but with plenty of sparkle, raw yet refined.
The Harden Engineering Switchblade is like a cross between a Tele and a Les Paul Jr. – If they were run through a Harmony / Supro filter for mojo. The goal was for the Switchblade to have the great tone of some of those more obscure guitars, but with all the playability and dependability or a more contemporary custom guitars. It’s an original and unique design with the sensibility that made ’50s American guitars so cool and versatile; Craftsmanship, Nuance, Tone and Feel.
This is a killer choice for the ultimate blues-rock guitar. Imagine massive throaty overtones being doubled by one of the most raucous sounding harps imaginable pushing an old tweed amp over the brink. Well, that is the sound of a Harden Switchblade; unique, revolutionary and downright inspiring.
