The Xotic AC Booster is a Super Wide-Range Booster guitar effects pedal for Overdrive | Distortion. This pedal has warm and pleasant tone- A very natural sounding “overdrive” pedal. It’s not “heavy” distortion, but there is loads of sweet, thick overdrive with an “open”, non-compressed feel. The Xotic AB Booster is capable of 20dB+ boost with an adjustable ±15dB two band active EQ, perfect for adding a wide range of harmonic content to your sound. The AC Booster uses a super wide range gain control which provides enough gain to use this effect as a distortion pedal when it’s max’d. The Treble and Bass controls actually boost or cut the treble and bass, so the AC booster is very flexible. It’s also true bypass and can be used with an AC adaptor (optional) or 9V Battery.
