1969 Fender Precision Bass
Used / Vintage P-Bass
Cool Mojo! Lightweight!
The indestructible workhorse Bass that started it all!
Just in! This vintage 1969 Fender P-Bass is super cool! Great sounding, comfy, and an all around killer vintage electric bass guitar. Relatively lightweight too @ 8.8lbs. It was previously owned by Nashville session bassist Bill Garrett and his name can be found on a custom placard engraved “Bill Garrett Music City U.S.A.”, as well as various other areas on the body, neck and neck plate. The bass sports years of authentic wear and tear for some serious mojo. I believe it is all original other than being refretted. A little “sizzly” up high when set with the lowest possible action, but nothing a pro level and crown wouldn’t cure. Possibly even a partial just above fret 12. The tuners are a little stiff and one is very slightly bent but they do work and stay in tune just fine. No other serious issues, repairs or damage. Just plenty of honest wear, weather checking, etc… The original hardshell case is included. Currently strung up with D’Addario Chromes flatwound strings.
Like all of our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and price to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
