The Fender American Special Stratocaster is a player friendly electric guitar that delivers a blend of classic Strat tones and modern playability at a price that won’t break the bank. It’s Made in the USA and loaded with great features! One of best values in the American Made Fender lineup.

An Alder body provides a base for the full and balanced tone of the instrument. A set of Texas Special pickups provide the Fender American Special Stratocaster with distinguishing tonal characteristics. The Texas Special single-coil neck pickup delivers rich, fat and meaty tone while the Texas Special bridge pickup delivers familiar bite with added midrange punch. The Reverse Wound / Reverse Polarity middle pickup sounds great by itself or in conjunction with the other two pickups for hum canceling, Strat sparkle. For added sonic versatility Fender’s Greasebucket tone circuit allows for the highs to be rolled off without adding bass. Sonically this guitar is great for any style of music but particularly feisty for Texas Blues (a la SRV), Blues Rock and straight up Rock and Roll.

The Modern C neck profile and 9.5” fingerboard radius along with 22 Jumbo frets make this Maple necked Fender Strat a true player’s machine! Other features include a vintage-style synchronized tremolo, chrome hardware, large ’70s-style headstock with easily accessible truss rod adjustment and an included Gig Bag case.
