Make’n Music is happy to have this Custom Shop Fender 1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic electric guitar for sale at a great price! It’s a 1-off piece based on a Time Machine Series instrument with Vintage ’59 Strat specs, but hot-rodded with upgrades for improved playability, tone and functionality. It’s a lightweight guitar that plays and sounds great. Just like you would image a great vintage 50s’s or 60’s Strat to play like- only better- because the Fender Custom Shop is building some of the greatest sounding, most consistent instruments Fender has ever made. This Strat is light, loud and lively thanks to a lightweight Alder body. The 5-way switch is wired to a set of Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat 60’s pickups (Reverse Wound / Reverse Polarity middle for hum cancelling) and sounds incredible! The Mid 60’s Oval C neck is slim and comfy- and thanks to a flatter 9.5″ radius and 6105 radius it plays like a dream with nice low action. It also looks great and feels perfectly broken-in thanks to a heavy relic Black finish package that looks as if it’s toured the world for 50+ years.
