The Vintage Fender Strat- REDEFINED! This 56 Stratocaster Relic is part of the Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP), built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

This particular guitar is built to modified mid-50s Strat specs with a hand-distressed,  Relic finish package designed to replicate the comfortable feel achieved from decades of road worn wear and tear! The fantastic sounding Hand-Wound pickups are dripping with tone and specially selected for these guitars. The bridge pickups is a Master Design Limited pickup for some extra beef where it’s needed, and the neck and middle pickups are Bone Tone for a bit more sparkle and chime. This guitar contains all the classic Stratocaster sounds you know and love – PLUS the excellent sounding Neck+Bridge pickup combination. Thanks to an S1 switch hidden discreetly in the center of the volume control, this extra tone combination is right at your fingertips. Simply engage the push button to select and press again to deselect. No extra brain power required.

The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. The neck profile on this particular instrument is a 22 Fret version of the Modern C profile with customized dimensions. At .825″ – .925″ it’s a perfectly shaped to fit in any size hands. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out thanks to the 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.
