This particular guitar is built to modified early 60s Strat specs and has a very special hand-dirstressed, Heavy Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! The HSS pickup configuration offers incredible tonal versatility. Another nifty feature is the push button switch hidden discretely in the center of the volume knob. When activated this splits the Seymour Duncan JB Humbucker in the bridge position. We chose this pickup specifically because of the way it balances with the other pickups when split, providing a very natural 3 single coil setup as well as it’s honky, rocking mid-range bite and sweet harmonic overtones in humbucking mode. Of course all the classic Stratocaster sounds you know and love are still there too. Right where they should be.

The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.

I feel like I’m hosting an infomercial here- But Wait! There’s more!!! It’s all true though. These are great guitars. You can’t make this up! … Did I mention these guitars also have an ultra-comfy, Custom Mid 60’s C neck profile. At .850″ – .950″ it’s a handful, but not obnoxious.
