Make’n Music is happy to have this MVP Series 1960 Stratocaster HSS Relic for sale at a great price! This Super Relic 60 Strat is part of the Master Vintage Players Series (MVP) Limited Edition run, built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece. The Vintage Fender Strat- REDEFINED!

This particular guitar is built to modified early 60s Strat specs and has a very special hand-distressed, Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! For exceptional tonal versatility we spec’d a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker in the bridge position. The JB is one of the most popular humbucking pickups of all time, it sounds great, and also happens to be exceptionally well suited for the bridge position in our MVP Strats in both split and humbucking mode. A special push button switch (S1) hidden discretely in the center of the volume knob puts that coil tapping capability literally right at your fingertips.

The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage Fender guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak. These guitars also have an ultra-comfy, Oval C neck profile custom carved to our specs from Quartersawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard.
