Tim Armstrong is a founding member of the popular punk band Rancid and his signature Hellcat guitar is based on the vintage Fender acoustic that was his go-to guitar for songwriting. Its comfortable size, lively sound and excellent playability quickly made it one of the best-selling Fender acoustic artist models ever. The Hellcat-12 combines great acoustic tone with versatile onboard electronics and a satin body and neck finish for a comfortable feel and smooth playability, all at a surprisingly low cost.

A Fishman pickup/preamp system gives your acoustic instrument peerless amplified performance, with a variety of onboard controls and no compromise whatsoever on pure, rich and resonant acoustic tone. A built-in tuner is placed right where you can see it for convenience.
SOLID TOP / SCALLOPED BRACING
An acoustic guitar with a solid top literally resonates with a more individual tonal character, more “organic” consistency and a “true” voice. Scalloped bracing lets the top resonate more freely, resulting in better tone with more nuance and greater projection.
