The Airline Lap Steel PRO from Eastwood Guitars is an upgraded / no-compromise version of the ever-popular Airline Lap Steel model. This formidable instrument features great looks, impressive tone and serious sustain.
The styling pays tribute to vintage National brand Lap Steels produced by Valco in the late 1950s and early 1960s and this new model features upgraded components throughout, as well as the use of a Rosewood fingerboard (vs the plastic board found on the ‘Standard’ model). However, the pièce de résistance of the Pro is the inclusion of the Valco Lap Steel ‘String-Thru’ pickup. This is vintage-inspired replica of the original 50s Valco Lap Steel pickup (made famous by Ry Cooder and found in his iconic Fender ‘Coodercaster’) features a unique ‘string through’ humbucking design that maintains the tonal qualities of a single-coil with a high-output, while eliminating hum and increasing natural sustain. The pickup features Alnico 3 magnets with independently adjustable pole pieces. Additional features include adjustable bridge with strings thru construction, 2” nut width and 22 ½” scale length. To top things off the headstock is adorned with a raised metal Airline logo and a hardshell case is included!

Our policy lasts for 30 days. We cannot exchange or refund your order after 30 days since you purchased it.
Your item must be in its original packaging and not be used. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
