Airline Guitars Vanguard
Vintage Kay -inspired / TrueTone Tribute
Vintage Vanguard model electric guitars were made by Kay in the 1960s and featured various brand names including Kay and TrueTone. Old school student model guitars like this, with cool styling and unique features, are exactly the type of instruments Eastwood / Airline looks for when they need inspiration for their funky, cool reissues.
While many of these vintage student model guitars were known for being finnicky and/or difficult to play, the fine folks at Eastwood / Airline have spec’d a number of quality upgrades for improved playability, tone and functionality. So don’t fret! This iconic vintage Vanguard tribute model is now available with modern and quality components, providing all of the 60’s vibe, without any of the sacrifices that often come with using student model beauties like this on stage or in the studio.
