Airline Guitars H59 – Redburst
Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar!
Inspired by the vintage Harmony “Rocket” H59
Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s Harmony was at the epicenter of Rock ‘n Roll and the Rocket H59 was one of their most legendary models. The H59 was Harmony’s answer to the iconic Gibson Switchmaster, and was equipped with a 4 way switching system, 3 pickups, and individual volume and tone controls for each. While the necks on many vintage Harmony guitars did not have adjustable truss rods, Airline has upgraded the design of the guitar for greatly improved playability and functionality, including an adjustable truss rod
The Airline H59 features semi-hollow center block construction with F-Holes (like a Gibson ES-335) and features three Argyle “Gold Foil” single-coil pickups. It also has the 4-way switching (each pickup individually or all three “on”), individual volume and tone controls, a refined neck profile with 1 5/8” nut width and 24 ¾” scale length, tune-o-matic bridge and Gotoh-style sealed tuners. You could really be somebody with this guitar!
