This Duesenberg Starplayer electric guitar looks pretty sharp!

This incarnation of the Duesenberg Starplayer TV is finished in Catalina Blue and looks sharp without the traditional F Hole. What happens when the f-hole is left off Starplayer TV? Duesenberg wondered the same thing, so they tried it. The result is a guitar with a distinct and very special sound- Not drastically different from the typical Starplayer TV actually.

The Starplayer DTV No F Hole Catalina is a deluxe semi-hollow body guitar and it’s the perfect hybrid of the best vintage Gibsons (ES-330’s and 335’s) mixed with a little bit of Gretsch and sprinkled with a bit more functionality and tonal clarity than it’s classic counterparts. The guitar is fitted with a Duesenberg PH90 Single Twin pickup in the neck poistion. This split pickup offers the sound of a classic P-90 single-coil, but without any annoying hum. A Grand Vintage Humbucker in the bridge position (like a really good, Hot PAF) give this guitar the feel and tone of a cherished vintage instrument!!! We love the Duesenberg tone! These are truly fantastic instruments.

The exclusive appearance of this stylish instrument is completed by “transparent-silver” pickup mounting rings, a nickel plated pickguard and the Radiator tremolo- A version of the Bisgby-style unit on other Starplayer models but with a unique “Radiator” look
