Evolved for today’s musician, the American Professional Jazz Bass combines modern features and materials with Fender’s craftsmanship and expertise to produce a truly contemporary bass.

New V-Mod Jazz Bass pickups are modified versions of classic vintage pickup designs. Packed with the fundamental Fender bass sound you know and love, these single-coil pickups crank out high-output tone with vintage warmth and the crisp, clear sound that made Fender a legend. The new American Professional Jazz Bass also features a modern neck designed for comfort and performance. With a slim, modern “C”-shaped profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius and narrow-tall frets it feels comfortable in any hands. Posiflex graphite support rods are embedded beneath the fingerboard for extra reinforcement and improve reliability on the road, in the studio or in your home. A HiMass Vintage bridge increases sustain and can be strung through the body or through the back of the bridge to custom-tailor the sound. Additional upgrades include fluted shaft tuning machines and an Elite Molded hardshell case with TSA latches.
