Electrifying the music world since its debut in 1954, its natural, versatile sound made the Strat a benchmark for exceptional guitar tones. The American Professional Stratocaster isn’t a re-imagining of the classic design; it’s the authentic original model, evolved. This thing is loaded with new features, like a great sounding set of the Tim Shaw-designed V-Mod single-coil Stratocaster pickups and a “treble bleed” circuit which maintains high end when rolling back on the volume. The American Professional Series also have a new, Modern Deep “C” neck profile that feels fantastic with its natural satin finish and a nice taper from the first position towards the higher registers. The “narrow / tall” frets are a welcome addition as well making it easier to dig in for big bends. Fender has also upgraded the pop-in tremolo arm for enhanced stability and included an upgraded Elite Molded hardshell case. Overall these new American made Strats are more resonant, better playing and better sounding than ever before!
