Modern Neck with Posiflex Graphite Support Rods

This American Standard instrument features a modern neck designed for comfort and performance, with a contemporary “C”-shaped profile and a smooth, satin-finished back. The fingerboard sports a modern 9.5” radius with comfortably rolled edges for instantly “broken in” feel and medium jumbo frets. To keep the neck straight and true with even greater reinforcement, American Standard basses feature graphite neck support rods in addition to the truss rod that distribute string tension more evenly and add mass that helps eliminate troublesome dead spots.

High Mass Vintage Bridge and Lightweight Vintage Tuners

High Mass Vintage (HMV) bridges come on all Fender American Standard bass guitars and combine stylishly classic looks with superior modern intonation, sustain and adjustability for pro-level tone and performance. Versatile design accommodates player preference for top-load or through-body string attachment. Fender “F” Tuners with “Paddle” Keys and Tapered Posts are lightweight and smooth-operating for a vintage-style look with great tone that help to anchor bass strings in place neatly and efficiently.

This instrument is equipped with two powerful Fender Custom Shop ’60s single-coil pickups for pure Jazz Bass tone with full low end, growling midrange and singing highs.
