The American Standard Stratocaster is a premium solid body electric guitar. This flagship Fender Strat is Made in the USA and features player friendly features and specs like a Modern “C” profile Maple neck with compound-radius fingerboard for incredible playability while a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s pickups are installed for killer tone.

Pickups are one of the key ingredients for great tone. The American Standard Stratocaster sports three hot rod vintage inspired Custom Shop Fat 50s single-coils. Normally reserved for use in Fender’s Custom Shop electric guitars, these pickups contain the essence of classic Fender tone. Bright and Clear top end sparkle with a snarly Midrange bite. They are dynamic and responsive as well, so you can really take advantage of all your tube amplifier has to offer by working the guitar’s volume control.

A wide array of other excellent features have also been incorporated into the Fender American Standard Stratocaster for maximum tone, playability and functionality. This Strat comes standard with an ultra-comfy Modern “C” neck profile that features a 9.5″ – 14″ compound fingerboard radius and Medium Jumbo frets for maximum playability. This allows for more comfortable chording in the first position and faster leads, lower action and big string bends without fretting out when you are playing up high. A copper-infused High Mass bridge block and a 2-point Synchronized Tremolo, along with a no-load tone control contribute to the tone and sustain as well.

All in, Fender pretty much hit it out of the park with this guitar. And it’s made right here in the USA in Fender’s state-of-the-art Corona, California, factory.
