The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 60s Tele Custom Relic is a 1-off that was custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. It was hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with more conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1960 “Custom Telecaster”. It features a hand-distressed, Relic finish package for a great vibe and feel along with other upgraded specs for improved tone and playability.

The neck is Quartersawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood slab fingerboard, which has been outfitted with a flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire for lower action and better bending. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you don’t have to remove the neck for a tweak.

We chose the fantastic sounding Shawbucker humbucking pickup for the neck position and paired it with a Hand-Wound Twisted Tele bridge pickup for a wide range of tonal possibilities. In order to make the most of this setup we also spec’d the special Dual 250k/500k volume pot (this keeps things from getting too dark or too bright) and chose an S1 switch for the Tone Control which will split the neck humbucker when engaged for a more traditional, single coil Tele tone.
