The custom Tele is OH SO KILLER! What a cool spec – built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! It’s based on the 1952 Telecaster but customized with some great upgrades which are designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

While this Custom 1950s Tele may look and feel like an actual vintage guitar, it plays like a dream thanks to a number of strategically chosen spec upgrades. This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1952 Telecaster with a hand-distressed, Heavy Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! The neck is 1 pc Maple with a custom Modern “C” profile, 1.650″ nut width, 12″ fingerboard radius and 6150 Medium Jumbo fret wire. Not only does it feel great, but adjustments are a breeze too, as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock. You no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak!

Additional features and upgrades include Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, Modern Wiring with a 4-way switch for all the classic Tele sounds plus Series/Parallel. The heel is contoured for comfortable access to the upper registers and the tuners are vintage-locking. The premium Ash body is also sorted for light weight and the whole guitar is a feather at only 6.4lbs!!! Very Cool Indeed!
