John Cruz Masterbuilt ’59 Strat Relic! Killer Feel- Monster Tone!!!

This Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster is Masterbuilt by John Cruz and just in on trade. We see a lot of John Cruz Masterbuilt Fender Custom Shop electric guitars around here and like all his instruments, this one is also exceptional. It’s built to modified ’59 Strat specs and features John’s incredible, hand distressed Relic work. The motif of this guitar is similar to the Stevie Ray Vaughan #1 Tribute Strat with it’s heavily relic’d 3 Tone Sunburst finish, Single-ply Black pickgaurd, aged white plastic pickup covers, knobs, switch tip, etc… The neck is Quartersawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard. For ease of bending and better playability it is also outfitted with a 9.5″ radius and medium jumbo frets. The pickups are Custom Shop Vintage 60’s and they are wired to a 5-way switch with a Master Volume, Tone (neck pickup only) Tone (bridge pickup only). Great for that “woman tone”!

This guitar rings like a bell and sustains for days. It’s extremely resonant an alive soundign acoustically. Plugged-in it only gets better. I love John Cruz Masterbuilt Fender Custom Shop electric guitars!
