This Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster is Masterbuilt by John Cruz to modified 1959 specs with some some killer, 1-off appointments to make just that much cooler. It’s an absolute TONE MONSTER and has an authentic vintage-vibe thanks to it’s hand-distressed, heavy Relic finish. It looks, feels and sounds like it’s been played hard for over 50 years. You can feel the grain of the wood though the exposed finish and it’s stained to replicate years of exposure to smokey juke joint atmosphere. A lot of time was taken with this one to replicate the look and feel of actual vintage play wear- not just careless mistreatment. It was also built to be a true player’s piece with upgraded features like bigger frets, a flatter fingerboard radius, hand-wound pickups and custom wiring. The truss rod adjustment is also at the headstock for those of you who don’t like to take the neck off just to give it a little tweak.
