If the case is a rockin’ you better come knockin’!!! This Fender Custom Shop 62 Strat Relic is a tone beast! If it was meat I’d put it in the smoker. And actually, Fender kind of did that – It is built with a Roasted Alder body which has been finished in a classic aged/faded Surf Green finish. The pickups are Hand Wound Texas Specials, wired to a 5 way switch with vintage modified #2 wiring (which includes a Tone Saver Treble Bleed on the volume, Tone (neck/middle), Tone (bridge). The neck is Quartersawn Maple with a nice, chocolatey Rosewood fingerboard and a #3 60’s Oval C profile. Other premium features include a 9.5” radius, 21 Narrow Tall (6105) frets, and vintage style hardware. Additional details of note include: Tortoise Pickguard, Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity and Case Candy.
