Nocaster / Telecaster based instrument with Billy Gibbons’ style inspiration

Just back on trade and in minty fresh condition. This Limited Edition Relic Esquire is a beautifully distinctive custom take on one of Fender’s earliest electric guitars. The Fender Custom Shop’s Limited Edition Relic Esquire combines original-era Telecaster style with several specialized features and a worn Relic treatment for its Nocaster Blonde, nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It looks like something straight out of the mind of Billy Gibbons. Premium features of this Limited Release Esquire Relic include a Lightweight Ash body, 1-piece Birdseye Maple neck with “large C” profile, 9.5” fingerboard radius and 6105 “narrow jumbo” frets. This is one cool looking and great playing Esquire, but a single Fender  “Wide Range” Humbucking pickup in the bridge position tied to a set of rear-loaded controls (master volume and master Greasebucket tone circuit- which rolls off highs without adding bass) make this one mean sounding rock and blues machine too! A hard-tail bridge with vintage-style saddles, vintage-style tuners and nickel-chrome hardware are also fitted. Limited Edition Tweed case, strap, cable, Custom Shop picks, certificate of authenticity and polishing cloth top off the package.

As part of the Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Series, each Limited Edition Relic Esquire is only available for a short time, which makes it eminently collectible and adds to its investment value. Crafted with many features reserved only for certain artists and master built instruments, they are just what the name says they are: highly anticipated limited-edition models that go very quickly.

Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. Comes with original hardshell case, certificate and all original case candy.
