The Fender Custom Shop LTD 53 Tele Lush / Deluxe Closet Classic is everything you could want in a woman (I mean guitar)! She’s pretty, blonde, sweet and clean, but also nasty and mean when you ask for it, and very responsive overall to whatever your hands ask her to do! She’s built with a lightweight Ash body, finished in a traditional Aged Nocaster Blonde nitrocellulose lacquer. Pure Telecaster spank and twang comes from the hand-wound “OGB” Original Blackguard bridge pickup, while the hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup provides for rich, sparkling, bell-like tone with full bass and clear treble. Almost Strat-like. Special “Fat 50s Tele” wiring with Master Volume and Tone Controls makes everything sound as good as it should, while providing the control you need to blow that crowd away night after night. The neck is really comfortable. It’s beautiful Flame AA Quartersawn Maple, sculpted to a 1954 “U” profile (ULTA COMFY!) Other premium features include a compound 7.25″-9.5” fingerboard radius, 21 Narrow Tall (6105) frets, Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, and Vintage tuning machines. Additional details of note include: Limited Edition Neck Plate and Headstock decal, also includes Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity and Case Candy.
