Fender Custom Shop LTD 1958 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic
Limited Edition Electric Guitar!
Roasted Maple, Hand-Wound Pickups!
Lots of great specs on this one- It’s light, loud, lively. It plays great, sounds great and feels great! As I said, “lots of greatness”. This Limited Edition Fender Custom Shop 58 Strat Relic is built with an Alder body which has been sorted for lightweight and finished in a classic, lightly distressed, Aged Sherwood Green Metallic finish – Nitro Lacquer of course.
The neck is Roasted, AAA Flame Maple with a deep, chocolatey color and beautiful figuring. It has been carved to a very comfortable ’54 Soft V profile and includes other premium features like a 9.5” radius and 21 Narrow Tall (6105) frets.
The pickups are Hand Wound Tomatillo in the neck and middle (RWRP), with a Hand Wound Poblano Strat pickup in the bridge position for just a bit more heat where it’s needed most. These are all wired up to a 5 way switch with vintage modified #2 wiring (which includes a Tone Saver Treble Bleed on the volume, Tone (neck/middle), Tone (bridge).
Also Included: Hardshell Case, Certificate of Authenticity and Case Candy.
