The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 50s Tele Relic is part of the Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP), built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

While these Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, they play like a dream thanks to a number of strategically chosen spec upgrades. This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1951 Nocaster / 1952 Telecaster with a very special hand-distressed, Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! The neck is an absolutely stunning piece of Roasted, 3A Birdseye Maple  with a custom 50s Soft “V” profile, rolled edges, 1.6875″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Not only does it feel great, but adjustments are a breeze too, as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock. You no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak!

Additional features and upgrades include Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, a Fender Shawbucker humbucking pickup in the neck position for that Keith Richards Micawber vibe, and an Original Blackguard bridge pickup to ensure this Tele has plenty of spank and twang without any harsh, squawky qualities. Custom wiring with Master Volume and an S1 Tone Control for HB split/full adds some fatness to the sweet, rich, delectable tone. Very Cool Indeed!
