The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 1950s Tele NOS is part of the Dealer Select Master Vintage Player Series (MVP), built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

While these Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like vintage guitars, they play like a dream thanks to a number of strategically chosen spec upgrades. This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1951 Nocaster / 1952 Telecaster with a very special New Old Stock finish package featuring a high gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer on the body and silky smooth Gun Stock Oil on the neck! The neck on this one is Quartersawn Maple with a ’57 Soft “V” profile, rolled edges, 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Not only does it feel great, but adjustments are a breeze, as the Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock. You no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak!

Additional features and upgrades include Gatton Saddles for improved intonation, Modern Tele wiring, S1 switch on Tone Control for Series/Parallel (preset boost), and a Twisted Tele neck pickup and a Broadcaster bridge pickup to ensure this Tele has plenty of spank and twang without any harsh, squawky qualities. This adds to the sweet, rich, delectable tone. Very Cool Indeed!
