The Vintage Fender Strat- REDEFINED! This Masterbuilt 1960 Stratocaster Relic is part of the Dealer Select, Master Vintage Player Series (MVP) made exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!!

The Master Vintage Player Series represents a unique and exciting collaboration between Make’n Music and the Fender Custom Shop. Each guitar is comprised of carefully selected features and specs, which are designed to incorporate the ultimate in tone and playability while maintaining an undeniably vintage vibe and feel.

This particular guitar is one of our new “Featherweight” models Masterbuilt for us by Paul Waller. It features a special body with woods hand-selected for extreme lightweight and resonance. The tone is open and airy with incredible definition. Every frequency can be heard clearly. The lows are tight and focused. The midrange is clear and the highs sweet and sparkly. Never harsh or squawky. Exactly as you would imagine an incredible vintage Strat to sound!

Built to modified early 60s Strat specs, this guitar has an ultra-comfy, Custom Mid 60’s C neck profile. At approximately .825″ – .945″ it’s not too thin and not too big. Perfectly shaped to fit in any size hands. The nut width is 1 &11/16″ and the truss rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak. Another nifty feature of the MVP Series is the S1 switch hidden discretely in the center of the volume knob. When activated this puts the neck / bridge pickup combination at your fingertips for all those Jimmy Page / Ritchie Blackmore type tones. Even a bit of Tele flavor. Of course all the classic Stratocaster sounds you know and love are still there too. Right where they should be.
