The Vintage Fender Telecaster- REDEFINED! This 60s Tele Custom Relic is part of the Master Vintage Players Series (MVP) Limited Edition run, built exclusively for Make’n Music in the Fender Custom Shop!!! These special instruments are custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. Each guitar is hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with all the conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

This particular guitar is based on the Vintage 1960 “Custom Telecaster”, with modified 60 Tele Custom specs and a very special, hand-distressed, Relic finish package to replicate decades of road worn wear and tear! It was also built with a Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup for more clarity- an almost Strat-like vibe in that position. The modern Tele wiring is also a more practical choice for tonal versatility.

The Fender Custom Shop Master Vintage Player Series Strats and Teles may look and feel like actual vintage guitars, but they play like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the 1&11/16″ nut width, flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. Adjustments are a breeze too! The Truss Rod is accessible from the headstock, so you no longer have to remove the neck for a tweak.

I feel like I’m hosting an infomercial here- But Wait! There’s more!!! It’s all true though. These are great guitars. You can’t make this up! … Don’t let me forget to mention that these guitars also have an ultra-comfy, Oval C neck profile custom carved to our specs from quarter-sawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard for added stability and tone. It’s also got the Danny Gatton bridge saddles for improved intonation.
