Forshage Guitars Orion Headless
Natural Figured Swamp Ash
Used! Custom Boutique Electric
Just in on consignment! The Forshage Orion is a compact and headless boutique electric designed for those yearning for a guitar that is extremely comfortable and ergonomic to play, especially for long stretches of time and in a seated position. A great choice for studio work where you are often stuck in front of a computer for hours on end. Sonically, it has the low-mid emphasis of set neck mixed with the warmth and responsiveness of a hollowbody. Extremely light, loud and resonant. This guitar is just so musical. It may look weird but it just has that extremely pleasant vibratory experience going on.
This guitar is used – Just in on consignment from one of our regular clients. It was collector owned and cared for and in excellent shape. Freshly setup with fret dress. Other than some very minor signs up being played (carefully), no serious issues, damage or repairs. Like all our used / vintage gear it has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.

Forshage Guitars is a one man shop based in the Austin / Pflugerville Texas area. Chris Forshage builds all types of guitars but the model he’s probably best known for is his headless Orion. With it’s ergonomic design, smooth set-neck heel joint, above the nut neck extension and Forshage’s fantastic craftsmanship and attention to detail, the Orion is probably the best headless electric guitar available today. Notable Forshage players include the late great Walter Becker, Wayne Krantz, and Austin phenom Carter Arrington.
