Lava Drops Hollow Burl Drop
Elegance Inspired by Nature’s Gifts
Boutique Guitar Showcase Featured Instrument
Hand-Made Custom Electric by Rapolas Grazys
The first hollow body Lava Drop instrument is a temple of tonal and visual characteristics. This functional art piece was inspired by the ability to connect different types of wood, letting every inch of this guitar live for its own purpose.
The Hollow Burl Drop is crafted using 5 different types of wood and utilizes neck-through construction of European Maple, Padauk and Sapele. The fingerboard is made from hand selected Pau Ferro and fitted with 24 frets. The top is book-matched from Poplar Burl with one of a kind flames inside this elegant gift from nature. The front and back of the headstock are also covered with matching Poplar Burl. Pickups are custom made by Ezi with covers handcrafted from Wenge. These are very precise sounding pickups. Each humbucker has a split function with many tone possibilities and without unnecessary feedback while playing. Padauk wood binding around the carved top rounds things out while making it one of the most exclusive Lava Drops builds.
