The Mesa Mark V Twenty-Five features Mark Series Preamp Technology

The new Mark Five 25 head delivers legendary Mark Series preamp tone via two fully independent channels and six style modes. Maximum portability, shredability, and responsiveness are achieved courtesy of a proprietary Mesa Boogie Dyna-Watt 2x EL-84 power section. A range of tones and styles from sweet cleans to roaring leads, along with plenty of midrange crunch and aggression are all on tap here. The built-in Cabclone speaker emulator DI / Load Box makes this highly portable, lightweight gigging amp equally capable at home and in the recording studio. You can even use headphones, or send a fantastic sounding DI signal straight to the monitor guy, front of house or your favorite recording software.

Channel 1 of the Mesa Amps Mark Five: 25 Tube Amplifier Head delivers tone from clean to crunch 

The first channel of Mesa/Boogie’s new Mark Five 25 tube amplifier head has more versatility than many whole amps. Clean, Fat, and Crunch modes serve up an amazingly wide range of tone. The Multi-Watt power switch selects between 10-watt mode for more breakup at lower volumes, or 25-watt mode for more headroom and a different response. The mid-boost control powerful, and all you need to push your tone to the front of any mix.

The Mark Five 25 has three switchable style modes for epic lead tones. Choose from Mark IIC+, Mark IV, and Xtreme settings for three distinct flavors of sonic aggression. Again, switching the power from 10-watts to 25-watt operation adjusts the response and power amp breakup. From smooth and liquid to roaring and edgy, the Mark Five 25 head has a lead channel that features more sonic flexibility than most two-channel amps.

Cabclone technology and Selectable 5-Band Graphic EQ!

The Mesa Boogie Cab Clone has quickly become an indispensible tool for gigging, studio and home use. It also happens to be built right into the new Mark Five 25! This internal amp load and speaker simulator delivers an incredibly realistic speaker-emulated direct output to plug right into the sound system or recording chain. Even use headphones! Of course you can still use it in conjunction with your favorite speaker cab, but sending a DI signal from the Mark Five: 25 straight to your sound guy will give your band a tighter live sound (We all know a happy sound guy means better tone). And why lug a heavy cabinet if you don’t need it? Especially for smaller shows. And in case the Mark V Twenty-Five didn’t already have enough versatility, the 5-band Graphic EQ is selectable via footswitch.
