Following a 35 year tradition of 4xEL84 based power Mesa is proud to add the legendary and first-ever MARK Series preamp to the 9-Pin power lineup and introduce the MARK FIVE: 35. This mid-powered amp is an upgraded rendering of the incredibly popular mini-platform MARK FIVE: 25. The Mesa Mark Five 35 is just the right size for gigging, studio or home use and features an intuitive layout loaded with usable features. This all tube guitar amplifier has 2 Channels, each with 3 style modes (6 total modes) of Iconic Mark Sounds. These are the iconic Lead and Heavy rhythm sounds you know from the world’s biggest guitar heroes and countless hit records. To further bolster the new MARK FIVE: 35’s stage-ready resume, a Channel Independent SOLO Feature has been added, a long-spring tank for the all-tube Reverb, heavier duty transformers, a built-in CABCLONE with the complete set of Voicing Choices and an upgraded 4-Button Footswitch. There are so many features, it’s hard to know where to start!

The Mesa/Boogie Mark Five: 35 combo features legendary Mesa tone from its Mark Series preamp and Dyna-watt, 4 x EL84 output section. Pushing the EL-84 power tubes makes it easy to dial in everything from sweet cleans to roaring leads. Two independent Solo controls allow for foots witching of a preset boost. And the built-in Cabclone speaker emulator with closed-back, open-back, and vintage voices, completes the package of this amazing gigging and recording tube amplifier.

Legendary Mesa Boogie Tone! From Clean to Lead

The Mark Five: 35 has two channels, each with a full set of controls and several style modes. The first channel has clean, fat, and crunch modes for a wide range of tone. Choose the second channel for Mark IIC+, Mark IV, and Xtreme modes for tone that ranges from smooth and liquid to roaring and edgy. The secret weapon here is a powerful mid-boost control that can push your tone to the front of any mix. Each channel also has its’ own Multi-watt power switch to select between 10 watts for breakup at lower volumes, 25 watts for more headroom, or 35 watts for the punchiest sound with the most touch responsiveness.

Tube Driven Long-Spring Reverb and Selectable Boost

For the big amp tone in a compact package the Mark Five: 35 includes the same long spring reverb tank and solo boost controls as its 90-watt big brother. The reverb is tube-driven for anything from a touch of ambience to full-on surfy washes of echo. Two independent Solo controls are located on the front panel of the Mark Five: 35. These are foot switchable and can be used to preset the perfect amount of lead boost for solos.

CABCLONE! Built-in for awesome tone with or without a speaker

The Mesa Boogie Cabclone comes built-in on the Mark V 35. With open-back, closed-back, and vintage modes, this internal load and speaker simulator provides a realistic speaker-emulated direct output for playing direct live or in the studio. Turn the speaker off for late night bedroom recording sessions. And sound guys will love you live on stage! No more hassle with mic’ing the amp as you can run an XLR cable direct to the board which will give you a better sound in the mix.
