The Dolphin II is an electric guitar that embodies the best of all worlds- Vintage and Modern, Hand-crafted and High-tech. It is a custom boutique instrument appropriate for any stage or showcase, and built with carefully selected materials and close attention to even the finest details. This particular Dolphin II was spec’d by Make’n Music for maximum tone, beauty and value. The figured top was hand-selected from exceptional grade Quilted Maple with a matching figured headstock. Both are finished in a high gloss Atlantic Blue to accentuate the stunning figure. The look is striking – resembling the waves in a churning sea. The back and neck are finished in a thin, open-pore satin lacquer for maximum resonance and comfort. The entire package creates an understated elegance designed to appeal to both the player and collector.

Like other Nik Huber guitars, this Dolphin II is fitted with a pair of Harry Haussel humbucking pickups with Master Volume and Tone Controls. A push/pull on the tone control splits the coils for maximum tone and versatility. Nik Huber guitars are some of the most organic and alive sounding instruments we carry.
