Rice Custom Guitars are built around the idea that the ultimate electric guitar should respond in a similar fashion to a great acoustic instrument. All switched sounds should be an extension of the instrument’s primary voice, and the most subtle intentions of the player should translate to differing tones. The voice can be shaped through wood selection and internal design, and every change should be heard through the instrument’s pickups.
The Rice Firemaster blends together two Iconic 1960’s guitars – the Fender Jazzmaster and the Gibson Firebird, and emerges victorious as its own beast. Personally I think this is one of the most successful “hybrids” of two retro models. This particular example is a Firemaster II with a pair of hand-wound RCG P-90 pickups. These pickups sound fantastic and are perfect for amplifying the tone of its reclaimed Pine body – courtesy of a 1950’s Ethan Allen table. It is extremely light, lively and resonant. The neck is Mahogany with a Bocote fingerboard. It is large but comfy and has a 1.7” nut width. This guitar is new with full warranty but was a factory demonstration model so it does have a few scuffs and marks on the body. Reunion Blues Aero case included.

Rice Custom Guitars began in an Illinois basement in 1998, when the father and son team of Rich and Chris Rice created their first custom guitar. Over the years they honed their craft and began taking orders as Rice Custom Guitars in 2005. Returns
Due to multiple parties, including the factory and the warehouse, we're unable to effectively manage inventory. The actual stock can be changed at any time. Be aware that your order may be out of stock when your order has been made.
Our policy lasts for 30 days. We cannot exchange or refund your order after 30 days since you purchased it.
Your item must be in its original packaging and not be used. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
