Just in! This fully custom John Suhr electric guitar is a Standard model with some killer features and serious tone! The understated elegant look of bare wood is what we were going after here. Sort of a hot-rodded Super Strat vibe with more refinement. This guitar sounds absolutely stellar- there is nothing between your hands and the tone with this baby. Just Wood, Frets and Pickups.

This Custom Suhr Standard electric guitar was designed for versatility and playability. The H/S/S pickup compliment is great for pretty much any classic guitar tone- From sparkley fat Strat-ness in the neck, middle and inbetween positions to all out rockin’ leads in the bridge position, this guitar will do it all. But it’s not just a rock machine- This setup works especially well for anything from Blues, Blues/Rock, Fusion, Jazz, all the way to hard rock and Metal riffage. The balanced warmth of an Alder body with the clarity of a Maple neck is very evident here. The hardtail bridge transfers all those great string vibrations straight through to the body as well.

Cosmetically it’s very understated and elegant with the beauty of Natural woods complimented by a mix of Gold and Chrome Hardware. We chose Gold for the Bridge and Tuners with Chrome knobs to tie in the polepieces and frets. It works remarkably well- there is a pair of Gold knobs included in the case though- in case you prefer a more traditional look.
