This custom boutique electric guitar offers unparalleled access to the 22 frets you are used to, plus an extra pair for all the double octave excess only your dog can hear! And if that wasn’t already enough, you get an entire extra string’s worth of notes too.
This Angel 7 features a Quilt Maple Top on Ash Body, finished in Blue WakeSurf with a Black Back and matching Blue Doghair grain filler for a stunning and unique look. The Caramel Maple Neck has a Blackheart Fingerboard with Offset Dot Inlays and a gloss Black Headstock with matching Blue Logo. A set of HC1 / HC2+ pickups is installed with a versatile 5 way for 2 pickups wiring scheme that offers a multitude of usable and practical sounds. We also have the stunning mix of Black and Chrome Hardware for the icing on the “cake of tone“.
Of course playability and tonal versatility are the foremost priorities with any Tom Anderson guitar and this 7-sring Angel is no different. The 24 fret body style mates perfectly with the ingenious Tom Anderson “wedgie” neck joint to offer incredible access to the highest registers. The pickups are mounted directly to the body- for tonal purposes- and also to allow the neck pickup to be positioned closer to the traditional sweet spot. Special 5-way switching along with a Push/Pull (for series/split in position 3) mean that a full range of sounds, from classic vintage to ultra-modern, single coil or humbucker are available from the HH pickup configuration.
