The Quilted Maple top adorning this Tom Anderson Drop Top has a deep, 3D figure and some decent movement. The Cajun Red finish really makes it pop. A truly beautiful instrument. Maple tops on Mahogany backs are one of my favorite combinations for a custom Tom Anderson. Great punch and sustain while retaining a sweet top end sparkle. Like all Tom Anderson guitars, this Drop Top electric guitar plays and sounds great. Incredible comfort and sonic versatility are thier specialty. The H/S/H pickup configuration is pretty much as versatile as it gets- the H1 and H3 humbuckers are on the hotter side of the vintage spectrum but the are highly responsive and dynamic and split extremely well. So combined with the SF1 single coil in the middle you can pretty much do it all with this guitar. Just in case there was something you were worried you would not be able to do, they thought of that too- This guitar also has an Add Bridge option on a push/pull pot so you can get the Neck/Bridge pickup combination as well (split or full). I’d say that pretty much covers it.
