The absolutely stunning Flame Maple adorning this Tom Anderson Drop Top reminds me of undulating waves in a deep blue sea! I keep expecting to see little, brightly color Koi fish swimming around on it. I bet that’s how they came up with this color- Out for dinner at the Sea Food Palace restaurant, admiring the fish before gobbling them up…. A truly beautiful instrument. Like all Tom Anderson guitars, this Drop Top electric guitar plays and sounds great. Incredible comfort and sonic versatility are their specialty.
Like all of Tom Anderson’s electric guitar creations, this Short Drop Top is an absolutely incredible piece! It sports a highly figured Flame Maple Top on a lightweight Alder Body with a stunning Natural Jacks Blue Burst finish (natural back, natural scraped binding). The HSS Pickup configuration is incredibly versatile, and when combined with useful switching options like the Master Splitter and Add Bridge feature you get more than you could ever want. If you needed a Desert Island guitar that could do it all, any Anderson Guitar would be a good choice, but this killer Short Drop Top would certainly be a darn good looking one as well! As with all Tom Anderson Guitars, this one is perfectly crafted with all the right components and the utmost attention to ALL the fine details!
