Used! Just in on trade! The Fender American Elite Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker in Mystic Black is an awesome guitar. It was recently traded from one of our regular clients and is still in excellent condition. The protective plastic is still on the back plate. The guitar was also Plek’d so the action is fast and low. No serious issues, damage or repairs. Like all our used / vintage gear it has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get, included the original hardshell case, paperwork and accessories.

Mixing modern sound and innovative features with traditional visual style, the American Elite Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker is designed for modern players who need tonal variety on tap, as well as unprecedented performance and playability. “Elite” new features include all-new fourth generation Noiseless single-coil Stratocaster pickups, Shawbucker open-coil humbucking bridge pickup, Push-push switch for “passing lane” mode, new neck with “compound profile” and “compound radius”, speedy “soft-touch” knobs and a redesigned case with TSA locks.

Designed for 21st-century players, the American Elite Series sports a new compound neck profile designed for comfort and the ultimate playability. A modern “C”-shape at the nut, the rear of the neck morphs along its length to a modern “D”-shaped profile at the heel. Blend that with an asymmetrical neck volute, and this neck provides ergonomic support with comfortably enhanced playing feel.

All-new 4th generation Noiseless pickups, exclusive to the American Elite Series, deliver the most authentic vintage-style Fender sound possible with noise-free operation. The S-1 switch hidden discreetly in the center of the volume knob activates alternate wiring options for even more tonal variations. It engages or disengages with the tap of a finger for on-the-fly adjustments. The new “Passing Lane” switch works as a “blower” – delivering the bridge pickup at full output direct to the output jack with the tap of a button. It’s basically like switching to the bridge pickup and rolling the volume up to 10 all in one efficient motion, with the added bonus that you can go right back to that sparkly clean neck position or any other switch position / setting by tapping that button again. Super practical and convenient!
