Used. Just back in trade and priced to move. This guitar sounds absolutely fantastic! It would be the perfect choice for pretty much any type of musician with access to electricity and amplification- Buskers (maybe), Sock Hoppers, Rock and Rollers, Polka aficionados, etc… The Vintage Fender Esquire- REDEFINED! This Fender Custom Shop ‘59 Esquire Relic is custom designed to offer the Ultimate in Tone, Playability and Feel. It was hand-made to our specs in order to give the vibe and look of an actual vintage instrument, but with the added conveniences of a true modern player’s piece.

This particular Fender Custom Shop Esquire guitar plays and sounds like a dream. Easier chording, faster leads and no fretting out when you go for the big bends thanks to the flatter 9.5″ fingerboard radius and 6105 fret wire. It also features the incredibly versatile 3-way Eldred Wiring w/ Greasebucket Tone Circuit. Unlike the typical vintage Esquire wiring- which features and muddy, useless capacitor setting in the “neck” switch position, this guitar has a special capacitor that gives it more of a “cocked wah” type sound in that position. It also has the typical “Volume Only” and “Volume / Tone” settings.

No issues, wear, or repairs. Original factory condition. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
